Painted Dash Vents

On January 2010 we decided it was time to make a small change to the interior. The goal was to make the dash vents match the stereo bezel. We used the same type of paint we used on the bezel after using some plastic adhesion promoter to the paint adheres to the plastic. Take a look at the photos to see how we took it apart.

Use a flat blade screwdriver and pop out the passenger vents.

Use a flat blade and pop out the vent clips.

One screw under the dash. Remove it. Then remove the trim on the side and remove the other screw.

Remove the lower trip (pop it out) then you can pop out the lower dash. There are three screws holding the upper cluster cover.

Remove the headlight switch. Use a flat blade and pop out the headlight switch.
