In January 2010 we recieved our 12V remote system from Advanced Automotive Concepts. We hooked it up to the Whelen hideaway strobe kit. We discontinued using the dash switches and are just running the system through the wireless remote.

The actual system stayed in place, but we made some adjustments. Here is the wiring diagram for the AAC switch.

Our problem was how to wire in this controller with the Whelen unit. We posted the question over on LXForums. NYInstaller came in and gave us our answer.

The relay wires like this

pin 85 input from trigger channel x
pin 86 & 87 input from a posstive contant wire. Fused at 10 amps
pin 87a not used
pin 30 output to the wire you connected to , to make the strobes flash either the green, blue or yellow or more than one if it controls different heads ie 1234, 56 head being a strobe bulb since it has the ability to have six atached.

We followed his instructions and came up with this.
